Hello gentlemen of POLO-Water! So, today I installed two missing, in my opinion, caps on the front hubs. I drew attention to them, or rather to their absence, even when I put the air ducts to dry the brake discs, about a month ago. The picture from what he saw left much to be desired. Although the guys say that they never put them on Golfs or Jetts, but it's up to everyone whether to put them on or not. Having traveled for many years on the Volga, GAZ-24 and GAZ-3110, I observed the same system on domestic cars - the front hubs were always stuffed from the heart with LITOL24. Father always looks after this, well, I am like HE. Only I used Vympel lubricant - according to the application characteristics, it is slightly better than Litol24. Further, time will tell whether I did the right thing or it was necessary
use the old, proven "grandfather" method. Number plate - 1J0 501 249 with buns. Thanks guys — Good luck and smooth roads!
In conclusion, a photo of the process, and, as always, criticism is accepted.

Hub cap - 1J0 501 249 C.

The same pepper, on the reverse side.

I ordered a pair on Exist - 225.11 rubles. A piece.

Lubricant based on nanotechnology.

The characterizing table for comparison is, like, cooler than LITOL24.

Here is such an angle. This is after cleaning with WD40.

I stuffed lubricants, though not from the heart, otherwise you will be tormented to wash the disks later. We have already gone through this.

She took her place on the right side.

I went in with the help of a rubber mallet and a bar, so as not to wrinkle. Here's how to shoot later, if you need to get to the bearing, I'll never know? That's why we live in Russia. First we create problems for ourselves, and then we heroically solve them.

The left front hub — the car is only a year old, has not been driven in the winter, and the rust is doing its job.

I also worked with a rag with WD-hoy.

We apply lubricant, but without fanaticism.

Left front cap in place. I think, if anything, I'll figure out how to remove it. Kohl is cunning for inventions.

Well, the finished version of the wheels - the tread is cleaned of small pebbles, the disk is cleaned of dust, bitumen stains and dirt, the rubber is rubbed on the side with silicone grease.

The right side is in the same condition.

All health, peace and kindness! God bless you!
