Replacing the replacement air filter element Renault Duster

Note:

The replacement air filter element for Renault Duster must be replaced every 15 thousand kilometers. When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, the mileage between element replacements should be halved.

A deformed or damaged element must be replaced regardless of mileage, as it can lead to severe wear and loss of engine power.

The work is shown on a car with a 2.0 engine; On a car with a 1.6 engine, the replacement element changes in the same way.

Renault Duster air filter replacement

1. Disconnect the rubber clamp securing the air path resonator.

2. Disconnect the resonator pipe from the pipe cover of the Renault Duster air filter housing.

3. Squeezing 2 clamps of the tube tip, disconnect the tube of the vacuum booster from the receiver fitting.

4. Using the Torx T-25 key , unscrew the 2 screws securing the cover to the air filter housing.

5. Set aside the air path resonator.

6. Remove the cover of the air filter housing with a replaceable element.

7. Remove the Renault Duster air filter from the cover. We replace it with a new one.

8. We clean the cavity of the air filter cover.

9. Install the new element in reverse order.
