Note:

This engine has a housing fuel filter, it is located in the engine compartment of the car, to the right of the engine (when viewed against the direction of travel), under the air filter housing.
1. Open the hood as described in this article .
2. Remove the air filter housing as described in this article .
3. Using the “8” wrench, loosen the fasteners of the fuel filter bracket.

4. Using the “7” key, loosen the clamps for fastening the fuel lines. Move the clamps, and disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter (if necessary, pry the fuel line with a screwdriver).
Note:
1 - When disconnecting the fuel line, fuel will leak out, be careful.
2 - Be careful not to get dust or dirt particles into the fuel line.
3 - To prevent too much fuel from flowing out of the fuel lines, plug it with a suitable plug.
Helpful advice:
Mark the fuel lines before disconnecting them. This will prevent subsequent incorrect connection of the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
5. Remove the Mercedes Vito fuel filter from the bracket. Drain any remaining fuel from the fuel filter.

6. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
