Notes:
In accordance with the maintenance schedule, the fuel filter must be replaced every 60 thousand kilometers. If the car is operated in dusty conditions or with low fuel quality, the Peugeot 207 fuel filter is replaced more often. Use only high-quality spare parts from reliable manufacturers, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the engine, which will require expensive repairs.
Before starting work, disconnect the wire from the "minus" terminal of the battery. Relieve pressure in the fuel system. To do this, in the fuse box, pull out the fuse that is responsible for the operation of the fuel pump. Connect the battery cable, start the car and wait until it stalls. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery again.
1. Open the car hood. The Peugeot 207 fuel filter is installed in the rear, central part of the engine compartment, under the air sleeves.

2. Remove the right air sleeve by depressing its fasteners to the air duct and air filter housing.

Note:
In addition to the fasteners for attaching the air sleeve to the air filter and air duct, the air sleeve is fixed with a fastening hook in its rear part.
3. Loosen the lower clamp securing the left air sleeve to the air inlet distributor.
4. Having pressed the latch, disconnect the block of wires from the air flow meter.
5. Loosen the upper clamp securing the left air sleeve to the air mass meter and remove the air sleeve.
6. Remove the two air flow meter mounting bolts.
7. Take the Peugeot 207 air flow meter to the side.
8. Disconnect the fuel outlet hose from the filter.
9. Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel heater and the wiring harness from the water sensor (water sensor, located at the bottom rear of the fuel filter).

10. Disconnect the hose from the fuel heater.
11. Disconnect the hose located at the bottom of the filter, supplying fuel to the filter. Remove the fuel filter from the latches securing it.

12. To save money , unscrew the dipstick plug and drain the liquid through the filter water drain hole.
13. Using a screwdriver as a lever, carefully slide the fuel heater off its guide, then remove it.
Note:
If the fuel heater is defective, replace it with a new one.

14. Remove old and install new fuel heater O-rings.

15. Install and clamp the heater to the stop on the new fuel filter.
16. Install the new fuel filter and all previously removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
