Notes:
To reduce noise and vibration vibrations, Outlander HL engines are equipped with special supports that play the role of vibration compensators.
During the operation of the car, the engine mounts break for various reasons. The most common defect is the breakage of the rubber component of the product. Although such parts serve for a long time, but due to the high load on them, the rubber does not withstand and breaks. Therefore, replacing the rear engine mount will always help reduce vehicle noise.
1. Remove the engine crankcase protection as described here .
2. Remove the nut and bolt that secures the rear engine mount bracket to the powertrain bracket.
3. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a back support to a front suspension bracket (for clarity the arrangement of bolts is shown on the removed front suspension bracket).
4. Remove the rear support.
5. Install the rear powertrain mount in the reverse order of removal.
