Replacing the cabin filter of the heating and air conditioning system Mercedes-Benz Vito W639

Tools:

• Ratchet wrench
• Socket head Torx (asterisk) Т25

Parts and consumables:

• Cabin filter (A 639 835 03 47)
• Cabin filter frame (if required) (A 639 830 01 65)

Note:

This article describes how to replace a Mercedes Vito cabin air filter.

1.  Park the vehicle on a level surface and open the hood as described in this  article .

2. Unfasten the fasteners and remove the cabin filter cover.

3.  Unscrew the two fastenings of the cabin filter bar and remove the bar.

4. Remove the filter frame with the filter itself from the vehicle.

5. Install the new filter in the frame and assemble everything in the reverse order of removal.
