Note:
An anti-theft protection system (immobilizer) is installed on a Peugeot 4007 car, which is an electronic anti-theft engine start blocking system designed to prevent unauthorized engine start by breaking the electrical circuits of the engine control system. Below are the wiring diagrams of the Peugeot 4007 immobilizer to understand the functionality of the individual elements of the system and their relationship.
Scheme 1. Standard anti-theft system Peugeot 4007:
1, 11 - fuses;
2 - relay block in the engine compartment;
3 - engine control relay;
4 - electronic control unit ETACS;
5, 8 – analog interface circuit;
6, 9, 12 - starting circuit;
7, 10, 13 - conjugation circuit;
14 – CAN 1 connector;
15 - chain for cars with left-hand drive;
16 - diagnostic socket;
17 – a chain for cars with the right arrangement of a wheel;
18 - electronic engine control unit;
19 – CAN 3 connector;
20 - CAN 2 connector.
